i have it 20 inches away. It stays pretty cool, i should probably move it closer or what?

Well you generally want it 12" or less. This allows you to utilize as many lumens as possible, otherwise they start to drastically drop off as you get farther and farther away. Moving it closer will effectively lessen the light's footprint, so sometimes you must make somewhat of a compromise. Remember though, you will probably end up with more and better bud with fewer plants and a very close light rather then more plants and a light that is farther away. This all depends on the type of hood, the environment, the age of the bulb, etc.

I keep all my lights at about 8-12". It can get warm, but I keep the air moving underneith the hood so the temp is effectively lowered.

yeah, i have many hairs. HEre are some pics. There were hairs from the get go as i got them as clones. Now there are many many more

The only problem i'm running into is that it is really hot here in San Diego now and in my grow room it gets up to 92 at the hottest part of the day. I have a little window AC unit that is coming, but its not supposed to be here until sep.8. Damn. So i'm freezing gallons of water in hopes of placing huge ice cubes in the room around the plants.

Think this will work temporarily?

yeah dude, i've posted the setup on hewre before. But i had it setup for vegg. Yeah it's the hydro hut. 52"x52" or just over 4'x4'. It sweet. i just have it hanging out in my computer room with me. The box costs 280. They also have a 3'x3' and a 4'x8' box as well.

There is sslight nute burn on one plant, but that is old foliage. new stuff is great. Everthing seems good now.

I'ma keep this thing updates for all to see!

Everythings sweet startin' to stink.

Look at the last picture. It's this little bug that cruises arounds the underside of the leafs. It really small and they are a beige color. Anyone know what these are?

I have to keep my grow room open for a few more days until i get the ac unit we ordered. Once that gets here, i plan on putting some ladybugs in there.

you should get an intake fan and also an exhaust fan too for your little tent..

a nice AC will be good when you get it.

untill then try using a fan or 2
