I just bought this air cooled supernova reflector and the top duct is completely blocked by the inside reflective material.....except for the small space between the bend in the metal.

i installed it and the temps in my cabinet started to rise. I called the place that sold it to me and asked if i needed to cut out an intake hole and pretty much got laughed at (i think he was baked, so no hard feelings )

any suggestions as to what is wrong? who ever heard of a problem with a reflector hood !


ps....it has a 6" inline duct fan so i dont think thats the problem
