Fishing is indeed the shiz, but to be honest fresh water just doesn't do it for me ever since I landed my first tarpon in The Keys.

My dad and I went down to Panama in '04 to Pinas Bay, the Pacific side. Holy big fuckin fish Batman! Caught my first Pacific sailfish (112lbs.) on 30lb gear, and the same day landed 3 "small" marlin, 250-350lbs. A guy on a different boat who was also staying at Tropic Star landed a 600+lb black marlin. Day before I left I caught my biggest tuna ever, 179lb yellowfin.

I'm about to start flyfishing up here, I just need to find a few places to go. Some of the best memories i have of being a kid were fishing with my dad in the marsh down in south lousiana for bull reds and speckled trout. Ahhhhh great times.
