I had a brain high point and figured the reason was the water in the toilot was cold... I set up a little dish in the bathroom and put a ice cube in it... Damn cat has been drinking from it for a week,every time I put a icecube in it he goes for more...

My cats like ice water, too. Strange, but I guess they know they live in Texas where it's hot.

My husband spends far more energy than any intelligent man I know trying to prevent cats from drinking out of the toilet or walking on the counters or the furniture. I don't know why he even wastes his time. The minute we're out of the house, they're having a field day doing exactly what they want. They're cats. It's what they do.
