There was a thread about using the pocket microscopes and how to tell when the buds are ready. And from what I heard you do need cut a piece of the plant if you want to see it under the microscope (just a tiny tiny piece).

stinkbudd Reviewed by stinkbudd on . Tricomes: Is a jewelers magnifiying glass better? I was looking around for a pocket microscope and seen a few jewelers magnifiying glasses that are 30x and are cheaper then the pocket microscope. So I was wandering if the jewelers one would be better the than the pocket microscope. I have been told you have to cut a piece of the plant for the pocket microscope to be able to look at the tricomes better. Which one do you think would be better? Rating: 5
