I like to have a ritual because it teaches me to respect the herb. It reminds me that It's not to be taken for granted, it's too special for that.
I lock my door. Turn off the lights (I have the pc monitor).
Take out the bong, the weed, water + ice preparation.
Light a candle or two. Put on certain songs that I love to hear whilst the smoke hits me and it distorts in my ears. Open the window. Either turn on the fan, or put a tube underneath a crack in the window to exhale through.
And then... I grow wings.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Doing even small chores while high just ruins the whole experience for me. I do the same thing with movies, food and other things.

When I smoke with friends though, we usually just head out to a chill spot, pack the bowls and blaze up.

One of my buddies' dad owns an electrical power company. Needless to say, he's fucking rich and has a nice house. We'll usually get around 4-5 of the homies together on his patio. It's really bomb because its on a hill and you can see the skyscrapers in LA and you can see Hollywood as well. We got a little table, and very comfortable chairs. We'll wait till night, dim the lights, stock up on munchies and play music and just get fucking stoned.

I don't really have a ritual, but like someone else said I will set everything up and make sure once I'm high theres no chores to be done. Occasionally I will watch a movie, in that case I'll always set it up and pause it for when I'm done. Mostly I just play computer games, browse the boards, watch tv, etc. before I go to sleep.

'nother midnight toker here, without the actual midnight part...gotta get up for school.

And yeah, I'm usually a midnight toker, I'm a nightowl in general, but lately I can't do that... Gotta reset my schedule for work...

1. make sure house is free
2. close my door securely and put old sweaters in all of the cracks to get optimum hotbox
3. close curtains
4. light an incense stick or cone
5. smoke my joints or bowls
6. lie in bed listening to DJ Shadow and DangerDoom
7. sit and wait till optimum highness
8. go down and MUNCH
9. play on my laptop and surf the net for funny shit and drug related paraphnelia i'd like to buy.

If I'm at home, I'll pack a bubbler, put on my itunes, either play video games or just chill. Sometimes I like to go for long walks while blazed.
