Ice in bongs?

I recently purchased an ice catcher bong. I was just wondering if its ok to smoke weed with ice in the bong because i heard it burns holes in your throat. i dont really think its true, but better safe than sorry.

so is it ok to smoke with ice or not???

Well, lets see. Ice tends too cool, so then the question seems to be: "Does hotter smoke or cooler smoke cause more irritation?" I'm guessing hotter, but now that I think about it, I DO have gaping holes in my throat. It's embarassing, really. Every time I drink gatorade, I look like a garden fountain spewing michael jordan endorsed orange sugary liquid streams through my ice-holes caused by cool hits. People were like "eew that's gross".

NEVER USE ICE!!! Ice bongs were made for one purpose only: Torture. The combination of heated smoke running through ice creates a phorto-plasmical sheild of acidic energy, which tend to combust at the asophagul entrance.
