PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, my first grow was turning out ok, but now 2 of them is dead, 1 is almost dead, and the last one is great! its growing good but i dont think it will before long. An I wanted to ask this, I'm fixen to move it becaise its hardly getting enough sunlight. An I was thinking, theres this storage room in my house, an i was thinking about moving it there, but i dont have 1 of those special lamps either. But will this work, ? If i put just a regular old lamp down there, then let it sit for a little while, would that work? like for 8 hours or somthing? Just put a regular lamp beamming down on it?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Regular lights are not going to do much for your plant my friend. However...you can pick up some CFL (Compact Flourescent Lights) at your local Walmart, Lowes, and sometimes Home Depot. They run about $8.00 a bulb. Depending on what stage of developement your plant is it, will depend on what bulbs you want. If you're still in the vegging state...then look closely for either cool white, sunlight, or even daylight. These bulbs have a temp of 6500K which is just about what you want when vegging.
If your plant is already in the flowering stage, you need to get some warm spectrum lights on it. Usually in the 2100K region, I believe. These numbers may not be exact as I'm just remembering them...but they're definitly close. The more LUMENS the better as a whole.
Which means...look at the package or bulbs, you will see on there somewhere a measurement that says Lumens. Get the bulbs in the color range you're looking for that put off the most Lumens. And like I said, the more Lumens, the better your yeild will be.
Hope that helps ya.Making a difference, one plant at a time. http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=79229
