haha, how bad is the smell during flowering? My dad doesnt care if i smoke so i could always say i just smoked in my room. But is the smell different from SMOKED weed, and how strong is it?

Well, ive grown LR and my grow didnt really smell, but i had an exhaust fan. It stinks, but only if you disturb the trichomes of THC. If you leave well alone the smell wont be TOO strong. Skunk strains STINK, and its a phyical impossiblity to grow without people knowing. At least the people living in the house.

The weed smells weedy, and a bit planty.

My grow will be a SCROG with 2-3 plants. It's perfect for small spaces when you want a high yeild.

You might have to put your schoolwork on HOLD for this.

And stay up late at night reading about EVERYTHING YOU CAN.

I suggest you buy a packs of northern lights, start a large SCROG, sex them early and get rid of the males early then ride it out


Northern lights smells ALOT less then most strains, you could probably make a carbon filter and throw it in the closet and it would be relatively tamed.

How much have you grown? haha, I thought so. If you think smokin' a j in your room is going to produce a lil' smell in the house try a half dozen plants. THAT is why the GROWERS in this forum discuss filtration systems. If you don't have an decent charcoal/carbon filter system your entire house smells BIG TIME.

LOL.....try 10 seeds of Northern Lights and you'll find out if your folks have ANY sense of smell at all.

he will probably have closer to 7 plants if he weeds out the males(depends on luck)but a carbon filter is needed, end of story, northern lights smell alot less then a skunk plant would but its still going to stink
