Damn right, IanCurtisWishlist! I love Pixies sober, tipsy, or baked. Even the "Come On Pilgrim" EP has moments of sheer brilliance.
My favourite album by far, however, is "Surfer Rosa". Part of the reason for this is that it's the first full-length album I heard by them and I heard it at just the right time in high school.

"Doolittle" tends to be the favourite album of theirs by most. It is amazing and I love it...just as I love the rest of the catalog. The B-sides during the "Doolittle" period are exquisite! "Into the White", "Bailey's Walk", etc.

Pixies rule. I would recommend Pixies to anyone. They would have to be on my Top 10 favourite bands list if forced to commit to 10 acts. I've seen 'em twice live. WOW. Oh, and Frank Black lives here in Portland ORegon now, though I still haven't seen him at all. Apparently his father lives here. Go figure!
