Roach Clips

I always hear about using alligator clips as a method to hold the roach without burning your fingers. Wouldn't the clip squish the end of the joint? Then if you used a filter (piece of thick paper) to keep the end of the joint sturdy, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the roach clips?

i jst use a thick peice of paper at the end of my joints

u dont crush the end because u dont put the whole end in the clip. the idea is just to get enough paper in the clip to be decently secure and without closing off the hole. my roach clip is and always has been a miniature(sp?) adjustable wrench. same idea, just easier to hold, convientant on a keychain and pretty much indestructable.

Thats what most eupoean joints have, a cylinder of card at the mouth end. It stops ALL waste, AND because the end is open it gives a much better hit... so much better i'd never even concider not using one.
