hi, first off do not use anythink other than rizla/zigzags etc and please for your own sake do not use lined paper otherwise ur have a sore throat for about a week!

and a roach is the kinda filter u make at the end (where u toke from) normally from paper/card. only needs to be small

Zig Zags are nice and cheap, I like them! 100 sleeves of papers for a $1 gets no better. Most hemp papers cost about $2-$5 for only 30-50 papers, and the flavoured ones (excluding wraps), taste horrible, and have terrible glue on them.

Anyways, as []bmoka88[/b] said, the roach is the folded up pice of cardboard at the moutpiece of the joint. It is usually no bigger than 1cm in length, so it is quite small.

After someone rolls a joint, they take a very small strip of cardboard, roll it up between their fingers, and slide in the mouthpiece end of the joint. It is not needed, but some prefer to use one.

after the joint is rolled? i roll with the roach, much easier in my opinion and id always us a roach, cnt imagine smokin one without... again thats my opinion

You can roll it in with the joint or put it in after. I've always put it in after. Just different techniques with the same result.
