So apparently there's this group (gang, cult, whatever) who call themselves the "Courage Crew". They're prominent in Ohio and Utah among some other states I believe but until recently I didn't know of their existence. I have a friend who's nephew was recently beaten to a pulp at some "hardcore" punk show because he was wearing a shirt with a cannabis leaf on it. The "Crew" believes there is some war between those who drink/smoke and those who do not and that they have a responsibility to beat the shit out of anyone who does any form of drug or even talks about doing any sort of drug. These guys aren't small, either. The one who beat on my friend's nephew was apparently around 6-6'2 and was easily over 200 pounds. These guys even train in self-defence techniques so that they can become more proficient at beating the shit out of helpless teens who are doing nothing more than having a drink or smoking a J. Something needs to be done about these fucked up kids. Anyone else heard of them?

Courage Crew is a bunch of Straight-Edge hardcore punkers based out of Ohio. They are real assholes,they don't like liberals,stoners,hippies or politically active people. my advice,stay away and if you are into Hardcore, be careful around the Pit,thats where they look for people cuz they can beat the shit outta of you and not get caught

The thing is these people mostly just hang around these hardcore shows...they don't go around the street looking for people as far as I know...though I could be wrong.

that's probably because if they get reported it's easy for them to say, it was an accident... happens all the time in the mosh pits...
they deserve to rot in hell for touching someone who is blessed by smoking the herb, or at least punished justly buy God

Anywho, if you don't want to take shit from the courage crew, carry something that can outweight a size difference in a fight, personally I have this for when I get in situations where its more then 1 on 1, because if its going to be 2 against 1, fuck you, you'll get stabed
