    MMJ Prisoner's Hunger Strike!

    MMJ prisoner's hunger strike!
Randy went on a hunger strike! He's been moved, so note the new address at the bottom of the page. Randy got 3 years for 4 plants. He is disabled and can barely walk. He uses medically. His ex turned him in. He got a judge who wants to sentence 1,000,000 man-years in prison before he retires! A "hangin' judge" to say the least. He deserves a letter from you! If you haven't heard about Randy, please read his story at Http://FREERANDYBRUSH.com
    *****************************************
Dear Storm Crow, Happy birthday! Your birthday is one day before my son's R.J.'s. I'm glad most things are going well for you. Don't let the apathy of others get you down. Remember, "Those that can , do-- Those that can't, watch!" If everyone was like us, this would be a boxing world. And then who would we admire?

Thanks so much for the Chinese characters. I have no tatoos and was thinking of getting my children's names put on me when I get out. Seeing all the guys with tats makes me want my kids names and the one for marijuana. Maybe "marijuana man" or something like that.
**skipping a couple sentences here- personal stuff- SC*
My comissary is a minor thing and over the past 3-4 weeks between being medical, being put in green (punishment) and transfered to other institutions...well all I really need is envelopes, graham crackers, tea and p-nut butter. Not much really.
    *(more personal stuff)*

I wish this letter contained some good news, but I'm afraid it doesn't. Now it's time for me to tell you what's been happening and/or going on with me healthwise and otherwise.

I don't remember when I last wrote you so sorry if I repeat some. Two weeks ago or so I was in medical because my stomach and side were hurting me a lot. "Due to an abundance of caution" the doctor kept me in medical for 7 days. He tried to send me to see the doctor who did my surgery (Randy recently had a ruptured appendix and spent 5 days CHAINED in an ICU. Her can barely walk!-SC), but couldn't. While I was in medical (they put me in green because two weeks earlier I woke the man who pushes my wheelchair. Apparently I was "out of place" which is a big no-no! The doctor kept me in medical which meant no green for me. Sunday comes (8/6/06)and the nurses say I'm cured so they come and give me a green jump suit. I change from my blues and put on the green. Then I'm told to walk to house #3, the punishment house. NO WHEEL CHAIR! So I walk very slowly and everyone comes to me and my aid, but only one is allowed to help. Many fear speaking to me. They know what has happened to the ones who already have. They're still in green. I arrive at my rack after about 20 minutes and my friend who helped carry what pills I was allowed, gets me my 2 mattresses and 2 pillows. No sheets or blankets or underwar clothes. Just the one pair of underwar that I'd been wearing for the past 7 days.

In the past week I'd been given 6 small meals a day to ease the pressure on my stomach. So I'd brought the sack lunch with me as per doctor's orders, to eat between meals. They gave me a ticket and said I wasn't allowed to have it and then they told me I'd have to walk to lunch. (1/3 of a mile there and back) They said everyone in greenmust go as a group. They said if I didn't go, they'd drag me. I did not go! And they didn't drag me. I just laid on my rack and got another ticket. This all happened within 2 hours of my going green and it was only lunch-time. Dinner-time came and went. I stayed on my rack and got more threats. The ticket came the next day when I had to see the Sgt. He passed judgement and handed down my sentence. 14 more days in green- Guilty! Monday came and went. Guilty- 21 more days in green! Tuesday--Guilty- 28 more days in green! I'd found their soft spot. They tried everything to get me to eat. Threats-to-kindness. They even offered to carry me. Monday they shook me down three times as an attempt to scare me. Tuesday I begged them to shake me down. All I had was my meds. They just knew someone was feeding me. Wednesday- no breakfast. Now they were worried. They'd set up an appointment for me to see the psychologist. I like him. We talked for an hour and he told me what I wanted to hear. I was geting out of this "chicken outfit". So I got some lunch, only I didn't have to walk with all the other green men. Again I stood out for others to see and they held chow open longer just for me because of how slow I walk. The same for dinner and Thursday too! Most of the COs were pissed but dared not say anything to me for fear I'd do something. They just didn't know what.

(8/11/06) Friday 2:30 AM--Four Cos came and packed me up for my trip back to Lorain and the rest of my journey unknown.

Since I am unable to protect myself, they put me in protective custody. The others that rode back with me from NCCTF were kept apart from me. I was given my own cell which was kinda nice for a change not to have to go to the bathroom in front of people. The walk to chow and pill call was less that 300 yards. By Wednesday (8/16/06) 4:30 AM, I was beginning my journey to PCI (Pickaway). My hope was to be sent to a medical facility, but tje system needs to torture me some more. So I'll teach all I can here about MMJ and cause as much trouble and cost as much money as I can.

Writing is becoming more difficult. My arms and hands go numb and I lay down until I can feel them again.

Stay tuned as the plot thickens and the story continues.... Peace and good cannabis to you, Randy

One of the things I like about Randy, is his attitude. He's crippled, in pain and locked up- what does he do? He teaches every one he can about MMJ and how to grow it! He jokes around in most of his letters, this was one of the most serious of his letters. Please write him.

    MMJ Prisoner's Hunger Strike!

This whole story is absolutely disgraceful. I figured I'd be unmoved clicking on that link, but god damn... I'm speechless. And this is going on just a stretch up the interstate from me. People ought to pass that site on to others.... evidence of the fucked-upedness of the system, if you will.

So hossua (and the rest of you, too), You going to write? It would be one hell of a statement if Randy got a huge pile of letters this week! As for getting the word out, well, that's what I'm doing. Tell your friends and DARE them to visit Http://FREERANDYBRUSH.com Tell them to write. Dare them to undo the lazy, apathetic pothead image the government and press has given us. I doubt if there's one of you who can't scrape together 39 cents for a stamp! So turn off the boob-tube, roll a fatty and WRITE!

And to those that write, a big, heartfelt THANK YOU!

Does anyone know if a hunger strike can be effective? I've thought that if I was ever busted, I wouldn't eat to protest.

    MMJ Prisoner's Hunger Strike!

    Update June 16,2006

"I have spoken with Randy and he sends his love. They have moved him into a drug rehab right across the street from Lorain. They are trying to deprogram him about marijuana as a medicine is how I take this move. Randy thinks its because its a medical facility and because of his health."

    statements like this digust me.

    Hi StormCrow,
So sorry to hear about Randy. Have you considered starting a petition online to gain what you need for this innocent man? Is he entitled to probation? Are there no hotshot lawyers who would do pro bono (free) work for him? I am in the UK so other than writing, I can't think of what else I can do.

    Check this out: http://www.petitiononline.com/

    All the best man!
