Sativa or Indica...
Northern Lights is straight Indica ... Blueberry is Indica-dominant, with a bit of sativa, I believe ... (while my friends love Blueberry, I prefer other strains, so I don't keep up on them) ... and, to my knowledge, the trichome color phases are the same for both Indica and Sativa, I've never heard differently ... :smokin:

so from what u told me image, since NL and BB r both Indica/indica dominant , and one of the plants r NL x BB, then i would wait for the trics to b mostly amber and the NL #5( being NL, would it b safe to assume that it was indica?) would b the same....thnx

... OK, forget what you've been told ... the trichs' color represents the same stage, whether they are indica, or sativa ... CLEAR = THC not mature enough ... CLOUDY trichs = peak THC potency, and a 'head high' ... AMBER = THC degrading, CBD increasing, so is more of a body stone ... :stoned:

Sativa or Indica...
trupothead, still with me, I haven't steered you wrong have I? Northern Lights is a primarily indica dominant hybrid. NL 5 the same. Blueberry is sativa dominant.

Sativa or Indica...
from the strainlist:
Blueberry
Blueberry is a mostly Indica (80% Indica, 20% Sativa) strain, that dates to the late 1970's. A large producer under optimum conditions. A dense and stout plant with red, purple and finally blue hues that usually cure to a lavender blue. The finished product has a very fruity aroma and taste of blueberry. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the highest quality and is very long lasting. Medium to large calyxes. " Blueberry" has a long shelf life and stores well over a long period of time. Specifications: ~ Flowering: 45-55 days ~ Height: 70-100 cm ...
Northern Lights
A pure Indica, won the Cannabis Cup in '88, '89, '90. Much used for cross breeding for it's strong and big buds. Famous throughout the world, everyone has heard of N.L. Sweet taste and very potent stone. Specifications: ~ Flower: 7-8 weeks
( I'm not disagreeing with anyone, I just wanted to illustrate where I came up with my answers ).... :smokin:it\'s disgraceful what the dumbass website owner \'Sundance\' did to this website, it used to be the Best

Sativa or Indica...
were did you get that mis-information? DJshorts blueberry (the orginal creator of blueberry and the world famous one) is mostly sativa made with a Thai (Sativa) Purple Thai (Sativa), and Afghani Indica (obviously Indica) and Northern Lights used to be a 100% indica, specifically a highly inbreed Afghani. It never became stable like Skunk #1 and around 1978 was crossed multiple times with Skunk #1 and Haze in a attempt to stablize it. So therefore nowadays it isn't a 100% indica, just indica dominant. Northern Lights is primarly used as a crossing partner to provide that furry resin look often associated with potent varieties, but NL tends to have very small resin heads and the length of the stalks. Making it relatively weak compared to other strains.
Also about NL#5 twenty years of selective inbreeding produced this strain. A cross of a Northern Lights male x Thai/ NL female. Meaning that this strain has a little bit more sativa in it.
Theres your history lesson for today kids...any questions?

Sativa or Indica...
No I don't, its good that you ask all these questions, and thats why I'm answering them with information I know to be true...
NL x BB since it will be a pretty even split hybrid, slightly more indica than sativa. Shoot for mostly cloudy with a few amber trichomes. Say a 80:20 ratio, cloudy:amber
NL#5 since she is a mostly indica strain go for mostly amber with some cloudy left. say 75:25 ratio, amber:cloudy.
