The most common way of doing it is a pollen press, but that costs money.

To press kif into hash, all it requires is some major pressure, and heat (optional). Heat is not needed in my opinion if you press it hard enough.

When I press some hash, I usually scrape it from my electric buster. I usually bust about an ounce or so in there before I clean it. I get a nice pile, about 2grams worth over time, and this is what I do.

I take a small baggy, like a dime sack sized bag, or just any bag will do. I put the kif in there, and press it all into the bottom of the bag. If you have a bigger standard size baggie, press it in the corner of the baggie really, really tight, and fold up into small, rectangular, tight package.

To sum up that in simple words, just corner the kif really tight in a plastic bag, pref. a small baggie as it is small amounts.

I then fold up the plastic until all the kif is in a nice, solid rectangular shape, then, the fun part. It may seem silly, but I get nice shit doing this. I take a sledgehammer<--not a typo , and I lightly beat the folded up kif/plastic bag down on the floor. I hammer each side of the plastic bag about 3 times each, increasing the pressure of the blows.

If you pick it up right away, you can feel the heat. I do it on a concreate floor and the friction from the metal of the hammer, and the concreate, heats up the kif inside of the bag. Using a hammer on a solid floor is hardcore pressure too.

I then cut open the plastic bag and there is a nice, flat, slab of hash.

I've done this 3 times now using a sledgehammer, and everytime I get a nice, solid, non-flakey, chewy pice of hash.

I used to do it just pressing down with a block of wood on the floor, but it was never enough pressure, and I never wanted to heat it up in the oven because I was afriad I'd vape it all.

Anyways, sounds weird, but it really works, suprisingly. I just had a pile of kif one night and it is so powdery and sticky to carry around, so I figured, hmmm...pressure, friction=heat, sledgehammer, and it was born, "Sledgehammer Hash"
