hi all.....................major problem hear in dublin getting any smoke,so much so,,that i have booked a flight to the dam for 2weeks time,,in the mean time dose anybody know any1 with any amount for sale,,,please help

Keep it green,May it never return i feel it will do,,Then the boards will go quite again..I was hoping to myself the other night that the direct result of a serious drought would be people turning to grow lamps not crapping themselves....

theres very few people over here in belfast growing. Thought last year or the year before there probly would have been none. this is my first grow ive read and read and read till i feel asleep. soo i hope my babies grow with no problems specialy mould that would be the worst. how important is having air extractor or having fresh air coming in other than a few oscilating fans in the room to keep the place cool. my q is how important is fresh air?

No easy answer dont get too stress'ed. Ive gotten Mould before from different envo's have you a Rh Meter?, it would be handy if you could fill us in?. i use two meters for my heat and one rh meter and it helps you understand things better. My plants are into the 3trd week of flowering and temps are running about mid 20's rh with out the light on is running at 7o percent should be 40 too 70 so im ok When my 400 is on its running about 40 too 50 percent humidity. So Belfast shouldnt be much different it all comes down to ran outside, you'll find on weter days or over clouded days your hum will run quite high. During the day with lights on in the summer humidity wont be a factor unless it getts too dry back in april when i started this grow Rh was down to 20 per cent very low and unhealthy for long periods. Once you enclose a grow room youll get humidity. Can you not vent threw a Door (Of youre grow space)?. Keep using a fan in youre space it can control temps and Humidity.... In an ideal world vent in and out but this can be difficult given holes may need to be made in walls and such. If you havny got direct access to fresh air work around it. Arte the plants in a room, vent to the room open windows and doors.....Get a rh Meter Capel st had em recently 8 ish euro very handy for putting youre mind at rest..

no probs LoD i=my space is not enclosed yet. its under construction. im in an attic about about 23ft x 16ft. ive some great plans ill get pics shortly. at the min ive just the basics .when i finish my room im goin to splash out on everything from timers to smelly proof bags. i was thinking of puting an extractor on my roof into the attic.would this be a good idea. at the min ive 1 plant but im creating a grow room to hold 6 12 plants. best about it is its kinda like the lion the withc n the wardrobe. almost complety secret. i think mould would be possible because of being so close to the outside. but i dont know we will soon see. ill b postin pics n=xt week

No Hassle youll need timers .Try flowering for 8 plus weeks doing it by hand,,talk about stress.eg (this day it goes on an hour late because youve a hangover. Tommorow it goes off two hours late because you went for a pint). Please use timers be carful big lamps blow timers unless you use a contactor. ive also had that happen. demestic timers arnt ment for grow lamps. I m growing in an attic at the minute myself one wall the end of the house two walls are mylar the actual walled end is paint'd matt white so ive only one acess point if you will. Vent into the house, if its your house open the attic door who cares if there's a smell. This will come down to it being ur space. You could vent threw the chimney aldo this will require some work knocking out bricks ,if this sounds like work too you keep in mind what i said get a couple of rh meters and thermo's see what youre temps are beforwe you start. try and run you room when youve the lights in run for a day with a plant see for sure how hot it gets and how humid..
