If Cuban people hated him, he would have been killed - they're allowed to have guns and Castro isn't any more difficult to off than anybody else in a position such as his. I believe that he's even said himself that if the people are unsatisfied with him that he should be killed.

That being said, he's a dictator and communist, but if his populace is happy, it's not our problem and none of our business. There are far greater threats than Castro. We should not have embargoed Cuba - it's stupid. We're doing business with countries that have imported terrorists to us and, say what you will about Fidel, he's not a supporter of terrorism. We've got to get our priorities straight.

Fidel Castro is the man. This guy has balls and supports his people's needs. He isn't driven by greed. Although he's not perfect, most of the negative reports you hear on him are pure propaghanda.

Not true at all the Cubans that did that was because they had to being forced to by their government. Not because they wanted too. I can't believe the maker of this thread even saying theres a chance for him to be a 'good guy'. I am Cuban, I came from Cuba in the early 1960's when I was just a boy, most of my Familia came but my Tio Modesto fought against castros upcomming regime for Balista and of course lost, was beat and tortured severly for 3 years before escaping and fleeing to America. No way in hell castro is a 'good guy' he will rot in the deepest parts of hell along with hitler and the rest of the communist pigs.
