that is really nice! i hope you made it out of wood from a tree, its not good to smoke the chemichals in store bought treated wood.

ok so i guess i'll have to start over on some new wood because the wood i found was indoors from a room remodeling in the basement ...well i don't want any "harmful" chemicals in my lungs. how does some fresh pine sound??

So I was feeling a little creative.... and i decided to make my first pipe/bowl. i've only been smoking for a few months now. and at about 3 in the morning i decide to do something better than my usual stare at the ceiling for hours routine:upsidedow and actually do something. so i found a perfect scrap piece of wood, about 8"x2"x2". picked up a file and some sandpaper and went to work. after i got the shape down, i stained and glossed it to give a better look along with a sun and moon. drilled it. and now my room is covered in Rating: 5

Cherry would be great, along with any other hard wood and then bake it to make it harder (like tempering). It might aslo be a good idea not to stain anything inside the bowl and stem to avoid heat exposure. Pretty though...
