"America" will/can never die, for it is a set of ideals (which we admittedly don't always live up to).

As for the nation, history has taught us that nothing lasts forever, but I don't see the end coming anytime soon.

My hope is that our citizenry will rise up, and make the needed changes by educating themselves politically and voting for their real interests (instead of the BS the govt/Dems/Reps sell with fear).

I think that the only thing that can bring the US down is the US. By that I mean that it is in danger of collapsing upon itself. When a hand full of people in power chip away at our gauranteed rights, arrogantly abuse it's power around the world, ignores the will of the masses, when 2% of the population has more wealth then the rest of the population combined, when work hours are longer,the cost of living higher, and wages are stagnet if not declining, when a major US city gets destroyed by a hurricane, is still not rebuilt 2 years later as we spend billions for an uncessary war, etc. etc. Draw your own conclusions. There are countless examples of fallen empires throughout history. The points that I have offered are but a few of the symptoms of teetering empires

The fall of the US of A as a world power I believe will happen within my lifetime, and when it does fall, I hope to be as far from here as possible. The "United States of Canada" is not something I want to be around for. Speaking of which the North American Union as THEY call it by 2010? HAHAHAHAAAAaaaa if that is the case then why the fuck are thy making it so hard for us to go south of our border when not even 2 years ago we could cross with only a drivers license, now we need a pasport, and in 3 years we won't need either?

The "United States of Canada" comment has to do with the sudden slowing of the US economy and insane amount of work available up here.

The Christian Right will be the cause of this country's demise, and religious fanatics in general will probably lead the demise of earth as a whole. I mean, when a group of people openly and proudly disregards such "blasphemous" principles as reason and logic in favor of following the teachings of a bunch of glorified fairy tales, who knows what the hell they'll believe or do? If somebody says something like "I believe country X is evil and should be destroyed because, according to this book, God says so," and they have no other line of reasoning to back up their belief, what can you say to them? They won't provide any legitimate justification for what they think, and they've been conditioned to NEVER, under any circumstances, consider the fact that they maybe wrong. It may be decades, or even centuries, until it happens, but eventually the cults that call themselves Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc., will brainwash enough individuals with their teachings and gather enough power to do irreparable damage to this planet and it's inhabitants. It's only a matter of time.

The US has deep roots around the world and if it were to fall, i'm almost possitive that many other countrys will fall before it. but if we were to say the US was taken down, i would say some kind of uncontainable virus or a major nuclear fallout, and I mean major. The main point tat we are missing is that, who ever has the land has the power, and unless you can take over 75% of a country a war will not be the cause. Even with nukes you would at least have to hit 30 states at least just to make a real dent. I see the UK falling before the US, and china/japan taking over the planet.


I don't know what it is, it's like if your born in another country the US is automatically the enemy. Just think where your country would be if it wasn't Americanized, no good music, fasion would probly suck, no movies, no good entertainment for that matter. What are you going to do watch soccer all day, while listening to Queen (oh wait, where did they get their inspiration), and im sure you will have a new "enemy" to talk crap about. . .ha im just talking trash. . .

in my opinion the human race has over stayed it's welcome on this planet, and no matter who the "big bad country" is it doesn't really matter. People will always be crying, people will always be ding, and thats because of your pride and arrogance. Find a way to take that from every single person on the planet and there will be peace. pick up a history book and help the world stop repeating mistakes. . .lets all remember who planted the "tree" we call the US.

I recent read an article that was talking about how countries with the wealth more spread out amongst the populace have more civil liberties and countries where the wealth is controlled by a select few have less civil liberties. Well it seems the USA is falling into the area of less civil liberties and has been for a long time. Like i said before, I can't wait for this bullshit government to collapse...hell maybe even the whole country. Hopefully when it all goes down i'm gonna be in a much better country watching the carnage in America on the news. That's what it's gonna take to get people's heads' out of their asses and do something besides sit on their asses and read the latest celebrity tabloids cause their lives are so meaningless and boring that they have to live vicariously through other people.
