Failure to grow.. Pics of new babys

    Well hello all again..
The first plant i grew made it to a foot..but sadly all the leaves shrunk, Twisted and got black, brown spots.. so i killed the plant off.. Now its been a week since i planted new seedlings and i was wondering if anyone had any advice or feed back concerning the 1st plant or these new ones..
I am using 75 watt warm light bulb and a 120v 60 Hz bulb and a clay pot thats about.. 7 by 7 with soil 3-9-7 i THINK i dont know for sure tho.. But here are pics of my new babys.. ( is it normal for the circle leaves to die off in first week? )

Only one light? I think that's largely your problem ... also, did you use new dirt for the second attempt?

You should have replaced the soil, and shouldn't use just garden soil. It should be a good quality organic potting mix, and some pearlite. Personally, I have one plant under seven lights, and it's doing quite well, so you might want to consider that. Make sure the pH is balance correctly, and ... hm, try again?

get a couple of 20 or so watt cfl's for your lights and you'll have better luck.

That soil looks too thick, it's solid like mud.

That's your problem.. wrong type of light, not enough ot if and the wrong end of the spectrum.

Your only chance would be to put them outside during the day to get a real source of energy...while you rethink your indoor setup.

Need to do some research on the types of lights to use...

    best of luck,
    Bob.
