Gardening Under Lights (CFLs) A beginner guide

I found these links on Lowes website actually. It's not specifically for MJ obviously...but is exactly what is needed as far as lights when growing.

    Gardening Under Lights

    Info on Flourescents

    CFLs

Lighting fixture options. Depending on grow space there are different options available as to what fixtures you can use. A cheap option is overhead fan light kits. Such as

    Light 1 - $10.92

    or

    Light 2 - $22.97

There is also the option of using workers lights. This is what I have found to be a very cheap alternative. And you can use them with or without the reflector. They simply twist off leaving you with a wired light socket. Now, I cannot find these on the Home Depot or Lowes website, however I assure you that both stores have them in abundance. They run as low as $5.00 and even the $5.00 ones are capable of handling 75Watts. Which considering you should be using CFL's is not a problem. They do however have them on this website

    Lite 3 - Price varies

I myself am a newbie so this is by no means a definitive guide. But it is a good starting point for other beginning CFL users like myself. I will post more information as I come across it. My next post will most likely be on intake and exhaust as well as carbon scrubbers.

They're CFLs if you put CFL bulbs in those fixtures.

Ummm...did you read the post? The first link talked strictly about indoor gardening. the second talked about CFL lights. Which you can find on there, or at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, anyplace like that.

The others are "LIGHT FIXTURES" meaning things to put your light bulbs in, a way to mount them.

And also, this is the bulb route, not tube.
