Tips on easing husbands mind any suggestions?

I am wanting to grow 2-3 plants just for personal use and this will be our first grow. Im just tired of buying bag after bag and think that not only will it save money in the end it will also be rewarding in the end. He would smoke everyday all day if he could sometimes I think he loves this herb more than me lol. Well anyways he is worried about being busted. he can be real paranoid sometimes espically of cops since all of the times he has been pulled. Nothing related to Dro just street racing I sometimes mess with him for the fun of it and tell him Im going to turn around and wave at that pork chop behind us and smile. But since he moved down here in a new state he has had no problems. I think those oinkers cause post tramaitc stress syndrome Well we are in the middle of bum fuck egypt no one around expect the Amish and opossums. Since were growing in doors on such a small scale and no one knows what we are going to do we I tell him we shouldnt have a problem. He is still skittish but he really wants to do it. So how can I ease his mind when he he starts to get paranoid? Anything or will I deal with this the whole grow. Like I said he wants to do it but is a lil on the paranoid side.

we can all be a little paranoid the first time. But after your first grow your mind eases a bit.

Well...if you dont tell anyone (even friends), if you do it in a place where even someone poking around couldn't find it, and if you take care of things like exterior noise/smell, then why would anyone ever find out? Theres no possible way. 2-3 plants can be done in a 2'x2'x3' cabinet no problem.

Id be willing to bet that 95% of all people that get busted, talked. All it takes is one comment to the wrong person and you can risk it. But if your married, Im guessing your not 17 years old, and as long as you dont go parading around the fact with t-shirts or banners...2-3 plants is not going to get you busted.

can lend you my cola to club him in the head lol Tell him the truth! When you are dealing with hook ups you have more chances of being busted than if you have your own trees. As long as nobody knows about it, you'll be just fine

I agree with amdp. Will first before you begin your grow, log on to norml.com and check your states penalities out. Know the law before you break it. Next get in touch with a good lawyer I suggest one out of the back of High Times. Don't tell him that you're growing cannabis. But let him know that you may be of need of his services in the future. Let him know you by name so if anything happens it won't be your first time talking in a prison cell. It may not sound like much but it will help, God forbet you should ever get busted.

Now to ease your hubbys mind. Cops aren't interested in such a small grow, the only way you could get busted is by someone snitching on you. As they won't spend money and time on survelliance just because of a power bill or you buying growing supplies. Only if someone narcs on you, the way to easily control this is DONT SHOW YOU GROW TO ANYONE. Not even your longest time friends, brother, brother-in-law, longest time toker grower etc. It will be very hard to do at times, especially when things are looking so good.

Not to mention that the penalities for growing such a small number of plants will only in most cases be a medium fine and probation. Hope I helped.

well, you could tell hubby to let you grow your plants, or he will spend the rest of his nights sleeping on the couch ... that always changed MY mind ...

Well if youre only going to grow 3 or 4 plants (which is more than enough for two people for a good few months), then youll do fine with a small 250w or 400w MH and HPS (Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium - MH for vegging and HPS for flowering) bulb, maybe even a few CFLs would do the trick. If yer hubbie is really, really paranoid about growing, then start with some CFLs because they give off hardly any heat and use a negligible amount of electricity. This will ease his mind, knowing that the helicopters and electric board WILL NOT be able to find the grow, unless you TELL PEOPLE. After a few months, (when hes too stoned to understand anything lol) swap the CFLs for a HPS bulb. CFLs are fine for vegging, and OK for flowering, but get a HPS for flowering and youll notice a definite increase in yield and potency.

Alternatively, just grow behind his back and then in 3 months surprise him by throwing a pound of the finest homegrown in his face.

I was wanting to do all cfls but if I do good and money starts to roll back in I have thought about a low watt hps but still money can be a issuse someimes with no over time at work.
