I think this thread had a mis title. I can't rename it but it is more of a following of my setup. Anyways if anyone cares, here is an update of where we are at with week 4 of flowering. Getting anxious

Decent looking plants... Areas for improvement of course... But arent there always. After all we arent trying to grow each and every bud to perfection... Just the ones we keep for ourselves! (Family that is) I named my thread: My grow pics. Your harsh opinions. Hoping that would get me beat up pretty good over my setup... Is seems to be working!

Anyways, I would add cheap, black poster board to the top of your windshield cover. That would solve that issue. I wonder if that is causing some of the leaf curling from the reflective windshield cover...? The bottom of the leaves dont WANT sun...

And of course I would have rotated the plants at earlier growth stages to get more even and better bud output. Of course, I know nothing... I am just learning myself!

Hey I am back, kind of forgot about this thread as we are onto our next grow hopefully with much more successful results! The grow that this thread documents went pretty well actually. We ended up yielding just over two oz I think. I can't really remember, but what I do remember is it lasted us for a long while! This time we are growing less plants under more ideal conditions and from seed (ice 2000) so it should be better. We also have a mother chamber now too so constant growing!

Are you flowering yet?

If not, you should consider cloning NOW... get the HEIGHT of the plants down to about 10 inches tall... then let them grow for 3-5 days (recover from cloning) and switch to flowering (12/12)....

If you don't deal (flower or clone or both) with THEM soon, they are going to get ridiculous HUGE in flowering..

ya, thanks for the tips garden knowm. We flowered, harvested and smoked our brains out quite some time ago. We are well into our second grow with positive results thus far and the addition of a mother / clone chamber. We are all set for this go around. Only thing is I don't think anybody would really be that interested in a grow that is already almost to flowering stage otherwise I would start up another grow journal. Thanks again for the tips

A few ideas for you:

A 400 w light is not enough to cover 4' long with that type of hood.

Second when the roots start to show out the bottom of the net pots they will die and affect the plant's growth. You can use pond liner to cover them from the light.

Third you may want to rotate your plants in place and in their location so they can have a better chance of sharing quality light or the ones on the far end will grow toward the light and block the others.

Zandor - i have an ebb and flow system just like this one and i was wondering what type of material is the best to put around the pots to cover the roots? would mylar work good or should i just get some kind of other matieral?
