what do you think of this setup?

thanks stinky, that's exactly what that stuff is actually. Today is actually almost the two week mark. So I think you are right considering the spider mites in the beginning and also the fact that some of the clones we were given to us stuck in the rockwool sideways, I think we're doing pretty well.

I also don't think I mentioned that originally we ordered 10 seeds for $80 from buydutchseeds.com of ICE 2000 and they never arrived. We ordered literally the day the whole airline terrorist bomb thing was discovered so that may have something to do with it. Anyways as a last ditch effort our friend hooked us up with about 20 clones of different strains and different health. In fact the diseased clones came from outdoor plants. Thanks for the encouragement!

Looking good. I like your setup. Hope your plants start to take off now that you have corrected your ph.

wow they look a lot better, lot bigger. still looks they are getting some bad leaf curl though. is the water warm? how do the roots look? I would tie down some of those spindly ones, they wont be able to support their buds.

what do you think of this setup?

thanks for the input, I was planning on tieing all of them down at some point. But to be honest I don't think they are quite ready yet with the exception of the big one. They are definetely getting bigger and filling out, we don't know what the roots look like yet since they are under the cover to keep light out. We plan on taking peek when we change the tank in 2 weeks. Water is about 76 Degrees F most of the day. Not quite sure what the leaf curl is from but it appears to be only the very very tip of a few leaves so we haven't worried about it too much.

Drop your PH down to 5.8 to 6.0 your plants will thank you when all the nutrients they need at this cycle of life are available to them.

A ph of 6.5 is a little high for hydro. Check the nutrient availability chart in the FAQ section.

You would be better with a Ph of 5.8 to 6.2. You may want to try to cool your water 76 deg is to warm for your roots. Cool water will hold more oxygen then warm water will.

You can use 2 liter soda bottles filled 3/4 of the way with tap water and just freeze them. That will bring down the water temperature during the lights on cycle when they need it the most and will last about 4-6 hours.

I call that the ghetto chiller...lol

It does look better and your next round will be killer if you keep up the good work you are doing. It takes a few rounds to work out the details in a grow room.

what do you think of this setup?

Well currently the nutrient temp is around 68F. We are at week 2 day 2 of flowering in these pics. We have since added monster bloom too. Zandor I thought that optimal pH for hydro was 6.5? It may be different for flowering I don't know, but what do you think of these pics? check out the stalk on the biggest one it is about as thick as a sharpe!

Furthermore, I have searched and searched and searched and I cannot find the FAQ section that has anything useful in it other than the forums. Can you hotlink it please zandor? Thanks a lot for all your help
