Depends whats the average amount nobody no's but if your life fucked up since you started smoking that much its too much. If you couldnt forsee your future without weed your psychologically addicted.

You go through a 1/4 in 2 days, i smoke a 1/4 a day, nearly 2 oz a week. Go figure. You can NEVER smoke too much...

a quater a day... a god damn. it takes me 2 weeks to go threw a quater and that is smoking 3 times a day. of corse you grow your own probably so you can do it or you must have a good job and a good conection. but either way in god damn jelous. all you people and having lots of weed.

I have a J every tieme i have a cig. Im a Marine Diesel Engineering Manager, and my boss smokes up with me sometimes. [Must admit, its not often, but damn we have a good time when he does]

And yes i grow, but only ever 5 plants at a time. I'd love to do more, but if i get cught, i wont get done [Hopefully]

My dealers my best mate, obviously i only buy from him when im growing, when i've harvested i smoke my own, but all his is home grown too, so its all good.

And obviuosly, cos i buy in bulk [alot of the time] it works out cheaper.

I guess im lucky, but i wouldnt say a 1/4 a day is alot, i'd love to smoke more, but that would be boarderline insane... Need the money for other things ... Like dreded bills lol!

Well if you have a job and are smoking AT WORK then i think you have problems. BLAH Blah "weed makes me focus more at work" BULLSHIT. NO it doesn't. The only reason you would say it doesn't make much of a difference is because you've built up such a tolerance that smoking is your sobriety.
You shouldn't be smoking in school or at work.
I'm not going to say how much is too much because everybody is different as has already been stated.
General concensus is that if it's interferring with your life..then that's too much.
