THCbongman, there's actually a good deal more hope than you know. Do some research on healthy lifestyles to slow or prevent cancer, do whatever it takes for a clear, calm, and happy mind, and you'd be surprised what you can overcome. But more significantly, there's been quite a cancer breakthrough lately that could save a lot of people, yourself included. Some scientific institution, I forget which one, has said they've managed to program a virus that reprogrammes your macrophages to attack cancer cells. It's only in the preliminary stages, but they've said they expect it to be perfected within 4-5 months.

cancer isn't a death-sentence anymore my good man, hang in there, be strong, do whatever it takes, and you'll make it.

    Mind over matter.

Mr. Devious, is this related to the information you were speaking of about activating macrophages to slow or stop cancer?

If not, I'm interested in any links you can provide to the information you mentioned. I'd like to read more. I strongly suspect that perfecting that process within 4 - 5 months may be a bit of an overstatement, but perhaps you simply meant perfecting it in the investigating lab instead of perfecting it as a process. Thanks for whatever further info you can provide!

Na. Never smoked a cigarette in my life. Or chewed tobacco. That's just one more "perk" to my cancer is that no one has any idea why.

sorry birdgirl, I just saw it on CTV. They only ran the story once because they're going to follow-up when it actually goes through. the 4-5 month figure, though, can strait from one of the researchers in an interview. Keep in mind though that cancer is a complex thing which may not be "cureable" by this, but maybe some types will be cured and/or at least reduced.

Yup, Testicular Cancer, caught in the advanced stages, although none of the cancer made it to my brain, just my nut, kidney, and lung traces. I'm confident I'll make it, I can only get better from this point. I'm sick of being frickin' tired all the time and I could get my energy back. At least I'm fortunate to have lived 23 years cancer free. It's hard to imagine it's more devastating mentally and physically for those that contract cancer younger, and I don't feel so bad for myself. Thanks for the good wishes and insight from all of you. I gotta keep on fighting, that's all I can do. The cannabis really helps with the pain, nausea, appetite, and overall well-being.
