If you grow in a basement can u see heat from a chopper?

they would not see the heat at the lights,.....but you have to get rid of all that heat from the hid's somewhere and they will pick up the heat from the ducts that carry that heat

here in uk my mate who lives opposite fell foul of the police helecoptor, which unfortunately goes over our houses on its way back to the station. Being very paranoid i lined the space between the roof trusses with rockwool, then lined it with space blankets and then a reflective mylar. i have a shower extractor which i've linked into which comes on for ten minutes every 3 hours and vents through the same vent as the shower. Also changed to envirolites. Up until his appearance in the local magistrates court he was constantly taking the piss of my paranoia. Unfortunately the consequence of this was him loosing his job in healthcare, and being unable to get another in the same field due to needing a clear police disclosure to work in the field
YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO PARANOID

here in california, there is no use for infared. they use helicopters for outdoor crops because cannabis tends to be a much lighter green and if you have experience, can be fairly easily spotted from the sky. Obviously to be spotted, you would need to be in an area that is well known for cannabis growing. For instance, Mendocino County in California has a significent helicopter presence, but unless your growing in over 200 plant plots that arent cammouflaged, its not as if its that easy to spot.

far as infrared is concerned, have you ever looked at an infrared image of a house? Aside from doing like 20,000 watts in an attic, there is so much random heat that there is no way to distinguish that much heat. Even if you have a basement of 20,000 watts, it wont appear one big uniform block. Your house will shield some parts and not others, presenting a chopped up image which could be a clothing dryer.

Now, if you have a barn, and your in the middle of nowhere, and by some super super super super super super super random coincidence an infrared camera gets your barn with 50,000 watts in it...then yes, it will paint up like a house fire because there is no insulation and nothing else around and at 11pm it would be odd to fine one uniform splotch. Do alternating rooms in that barn, and only sections will light up at a time, which is perfectly normal and doesnt attract attention.

I dont understand how people in the UK get caught by infrared. I think honestly, I could be wrong, but that is BS. They talked, someone else talked, it eventually led them to believe there was weed growing there. Maybe then they did a helicopter if they felt the arrest would offset the incredible cost it takes to run a helicopter (have you priced fuel in the UK recently?). But like was said, atleast in the US, thats inadmissable in court. I will always put money on that 99% of all arrests are because someone talked. Maybe then action was taken to illegally confirm their suspicions...but otherwise nah. I dont believe it.
