Trichromes quick question
I havent started grwoing yet but I have like 8 pages of notes and am still getting more imformation. Now to the question. I know you are suspose to havrvest when they are like 20-30% amber and 70-80% cloudy. So what is the ballpark % 2 weeks prior so I know when to flush. How quickly do they change?

Trichromes quick question
They change slowly, Basically the Trichs should be MOSTLY cloudy, but with a few amber trichs there too.
Cloudy is when the trichs are full of THC, the amber trichs tell you when the plant is JUST starting to degrade, thats when you want to harvest it.

Trichromes quick question
like KHAN said, but everyone has their own preference in the high the like. Experiment to find yours. also nice to see another female grower!
I'm sure you'll do great. Very smart getting all the necessary information before you start, wait for the pistils to turn about 50/50 white/orange/ reddish to start you flushing process, and only flush about a week before harvest. Good Luck.

Trichromes quick question
Thank you guys alot. For some reason Im not getting alot of answers like some people. So Im very greatful for the few people who share there knowledge with me. KHAN I have noticed that I havent seen alot of female growers on here or alteast there name doest look female, wonder why this is moslty a male dominate hobby? I liked the more relaxed what alot of people call couch lock very mellow high. I have read that for that specific type to go with the 20 to 30% amber this is correct right.

Trichromes quick question
Also I have another quick question. Do you think growing indoors during the winter will almost get rid of any chances of a attack from something like mites. Since in the winter all the bugs are gone will that make it easier for me growing for the first time without that problem? Or could I still get a problem with bugs invadeing my plants like Iraq?

Trichromes quick question
In the case about your type of high, the longer you wait the more couch lock you'll get. The longer you wait the more amber trichomes, the more amber trichomes the more couch lock, also if you like couch lock, go for a more indica dominant strain. These ingredients will create (what I think) the perfect high for you. Also this recipe is great for relieveing abdominal cramps and PMS.
I'm not sure why many females don't grow, but I've always heard and believe that females grow better cannabis, its something about the female connection as we are trying to grow the best female plants. MzJill from TGA (www.breedbay.co.uk) would be more than glad to lend a helping hand to another female grower. Shes avaliable most of the time in the chat room there.
And yes, growing indoors durning the winter will reduce the threat of bug attacks. Infact the only time I can grow indoors is durning the winter, for some reason theres lower humidity and bugs aren't a problem not to mention the cooler temps will really bring out lovely colors. (by the way I grow in my basement) Happy to help.

Trichromes quick question
I cant say thanks enough for the information there is no other place I could go to get it. You guys are great. Hopefully I will be able to get a digital camera if I have enough money left over after getting supplies so I can keep record of my progress. It will still be a couple of months because I dont want to get it all at once at my local walmart or hardware store. Especially with winter approaching dont want to raise eyebrows walking out of a store with 10 or more lights, ferts, and all the other tools. So each week when I go to the grocery store Im going to get a few here and there. Small town lots of talk. Im so far out in the sticks the Amish are my neighbors and I am surrounded by corn fields. No joke. Get high go out side in the dark corn well above your head hear something get paranoid and think the children of the corn are about to attack. Its great.

Trichromes quick question
The reason I dont grow outdoors is becuse the Corn fields are infront of and on both sides of my house and a very small patch of woods behind followed by more corn fields. Well sooner or later the Amish are going to cut that corn, and start to plow those fields. I dont want any chance what so ever of them seeing anything. I want to do it in the privacy of my home in a controlled enviornment. Who knows the Amish might know what it is and plan a sneak attack one night. As to gettin my stuff before they load those Christmas trees in I am going to get the soil first lights I can always get ya know I will get my ferts. from a flower company I have bought from early this spring when I was growing my roses, pansys and things like that. I have a coupon for buy 25 bucks get 25 bucks free. So $50 worth of stuff for 25 will help my budget alot.
