The Smell (?)

Tommorrow i'll be deciding on a new place... i'll be getting a 2 bedroom place (i'm single). Most likely i'll get a trailer, simply because I want something completely my own (not like an apartment complex where you're still sharing the building)

...and the 2nd room will only be used for growing plants


My question is this... how strong is the smell of a cannabis plant? If someone passes my home, will they smell it? Is this something I should even be worrying about?

do u have a setup for a room, because the smell can greatly be reduced a number of ways...dehumidifiers, exhaust sytems, fans, all knds of things

^^yup yup.. also depends on what strain you have... maybe my stoned thinking but isnt their strains with low smell? iunno just dont get anything with skunk in it.

You want to look for fruiting smelling strains, lemony, orangy, but yeah, you dont want to be looking for skunk seeds or strains with skunk in the genes.
You could just get a carbon scrubber or 2, that'll sort the smell right out.

No... this will be my first time growing. I would do it in my current place, but the landlords wouldn't like it and I respect them greatly (personal friends).

well then prepare to dump some cash into a grow room if this is ur first time...escpeially if u wanna a decent grow op

well i have 2 plants in full bloom and those stink something bad.....no wait thats a good smell right

well if your going to dedicate an entire room for grow your gonna need atleast 600-1000watts of power not including fans and possibly a AC unit to keep those lights cool all in all you could be looking over 500.00 for everything to start.

i made a small growcab which in the end ran me about 100.00 for everything.

as garden known says...if u go cheap u grow cheap...or soemthing like that...if u throw together a grow room cheaply then chances are ur plants arent going to be as good of a quality is if u use the right products

theres alot u need to buy

pots
soil/perlite
nutrients
bottled water? if u use it ( i just let tap water sit out for a day)
light bulb
electric cost
seeds/clones
fans
ac/heater if u need 1
exsaust
ventialiation
wiring/ballasts and all that stuff for lighting
ph tester and thermometer
mylar or white paint...

ect...it isnt cheap
