Please refrain from racial/ethnic slurs. This is a racism-free message board.

(P.S. Why do creationism and racism seem to go together so often? Perhaps scientifically-minded people realize that we are all just slightly different evolutionary offshoots of the same basic species and that no race is intrinsically superior/inferior to another...)

life can only come from life, it's a law of science, therefore there must be a creator because of all the theories of evolution none of them suggest we came from life
some people say the universe has been forever, if so explain this...
if you put a cold cup of water and a hot cup of water in a box and sealed it up then opend it an hour later, both cups would be warm... why? because heat seeks out cold, if so, why are some parts of the universe colder then the other? wouldn't the heat seek out the cold? if no then it must have a beginning.

Well don't just sit there, show us this "law of science"! Or are you using the 2 very impressive terms "law" and "science" so as to leave little question in the minds of the ignorant. This sounds a lot like when I'd argue for legalizing marijuana on other boards and people would say "it's makes you stupid, it's been scientifically proven".

Even if one of our situation A hypothesis (evolution) is proven false, that doesn't mean the credit goes to the other situation A by default. To simply say God's work is proven because we don't have another explanation is like saying a thousand years ago "well, we figure the moon could only be rising every night by fairies lifting it, or a gods chariot dragging it. since we've proven beyond a doubt that fairies don't exist, that proves it's a god's chariot". This really is the core flaw I've bene seeing in creationist logic which has ultimately lead to my atheistic standpoint.therefore there must be a creator
Well actually, evolution explains all life as coming from life, so I'm not sure what you mean. Could you clarify?because of all the theories of evolution none of them suggest we came from life

Oh, and Oneirnaut I don't think Cheebahawk ever meant "Japs" in the derogatory sense, he just wasn't aware it's a common racial slur. It does, after all, sound like a sensible short version for "japanese", unlike a more obvious racial slur such as "nigger".
