too everyone saying that watering everyday is too much...

your situation is not the same as everyone elses. if everything is going well with what your doing, why change it? One persons grow room has very different conditions from another one.

I have to water my plants everyday, regardless of how hard I soak them. One day of no water and they are wilting bad. Some of this depends on your rooms tempurture, the humidity, the amount of ventilation, the amount of perlite you have in your soil, the size of the plants, the amount their growing, the size of the pots, the type of light your using, etc.

For instance, I am helping with another grow that is using 3 gallon buckets, about 30% perlite. When they were in veg, they got watered once every 3-4 days. When they went into flowering, it went to once every other day. And when we went from a 600 watt HPS to a 1000 watt HPS, they now must be watered every day.

I use the finger method and visual method. I trust my finger finding moisture better then a meter I dont know works perfectly. When 2" down its completely dry, I water. Or when the leaves of the plants are below horizontal (wilting down) I water. Within 20-30 minutes, boom, they are perked up and back to normal. Youll soon learn that the plant will tell you what it wants and when it needs it.
