post harvest - revegging plants for cloning
Transplanting into New soil seems like the best idea, I'd say cut out as much bud as possible without damaging it. Leaving a main stem and no branches isn't really going to have a great chance of survival. New (with lots of vegging nutes like a good fox farm ocean forrest) soil and fluorescent light should work.
