Even if you become a pharmacist in the USA, you will need to do some sorta conversion course here, so you won't be able to work immediately. However, once you DO become a UK pharma, you can earn serious buck doing locum work, which is basically short term contracts, filling in for pharmas who want to go on hols, et.c. really really good money in that, like UKĀ£40 per hour I heard from a friend who is in the business.
