    Does Mylar reinforces heat?

Sorry I duplicated this post but the other one I posted earlier didn't get any replies so I thought I'd give it a shot here in a more viewed section of the board.

I was wondering if the reflective material Mylar keep heat in or can you feel the heat on the other side too?

Mylar doesn't reflect heat but it will trap it in more, than lets say just regular plastic or whatever. Just make sure your ventalation system is working great and you'll have no problems.

I know some people that use Mylar with an insulator or Foylon, but they do it because their intake air is around 20-40 degrees F, so they are actually having trouble keeping the room warm. Thats a problem Id love to have.

Foylon is good for your hood hoses and exhaust hoses because it will help keep the heat from dissipating into your grow room or the room you maybe draw your cold air from, although ducts usually have some already.
