Wisdom Teeth And Smoking
In general, you shouldn't smoke. However, if you decide to, you'll generally be OK as long as you keep your mouth clean...immediately brush teeth and rinse out after smoking. You do have to be careful of 'dry socket' and report any abnormal, acute pain to your dentist.
Big Calhoun Reviewed by Big Calhoun on . Wisdom Teeth And Smoking Well I just got my wisdom teeth taken out... My Dentist told me no smoking... and was wondering how long you had to wait until you could smoke?... i couldn't ask him because my mouth was completely numb and full of gauze and blood. I tried looking i've read 24 hrs, 4 days, 1 week and 2 weeks... so i don't know... all i know is that if you do smoke when your not suppose to it is very harmful... and can get infected or dry socets. So anyone here know or have to experience getting their Rating: 5

Wisdom Teeth And Smoking
I got one wisdom tooth out like a year ago and noone said anything about not smoking to me! I smoked cigs and bud AND took Percocet
and I am still alive today! One word of advice: rinse your mouth out with salt water twice a day to deter any nasty bacteria!!!

I'd wait at least a week. Dry socket is a bitch, trust me, it's not worth smoking for.

my buddy got his wisdom teeth pulled about a week and a half ago and he started smoking weed right away. He also continued to smoke a pack a day and he had no problems.

The dentist didn't warn me about not smoking so I blazed right away with no ill effects.
