Ok well ever since I can remember my parents have been smoking weed in the basement of our home(daily). They have friends come over on the weekends or whatever and they all get blazed in the basement haha... anyways about 4 months ago I wanted to try weed just out of curiousity because ive seen the effects on my parents and wanted to try it for myself. Well one night when my parents went to sleep I snuck downstairs and finished a few roaches from their ashtray that was hidden under the computer desk. That night i didnt get caught, and I loved the feeling of being high! So... I started to take some weed from their stash which is about 2 ounces lol, just enough to roll a joint or two and I would go out when it was dark to walk my dog and smoke a joint either with a friend or by myself. I have been smoking weed on a regular basis now, sometimes everyday for a period of 3-4 days until I got caught! Im not going to go into detail on how I got caught or anything, but they were pissed! they knew that I knew they smoked weed, but they are sooo against me smoking weed! it really sucks and i think its bullshit how they are so against it when they do it everyday... my mom said to me one day, "Im so disappointed in you." and I was like, "Well yeah, you havnt been such a good role model my whole life, eh?" I felt kind of bad after that conversation but anyways what do you guys think? how would you react if you were in my position?

as long as you do it responsibly and let them know that they won't hastle you as much about it, i have a friend in the same situation as you except he's been smoking for about 3 years now so it's a little different, but he's been caught so many times that his parents are pretty much over it, the other day his mom gave him a bowl and he told her he was smoking all day today

there just raggin on you cause its your first time getting caught, thats a lot of freedom for a kid to just smoke freely and with his parents, im sure they didnt have the privledge when they were your age, i did, but im different

dont fuck up with school or anything and keep tokin and they probably wont do anything, and buy your own damn pot, if i have kids and they steal my weed ill be pissed, moochers.

Maybe you should have said that you are sorry you stole/lied about it, but you are going to smoke weed and they can't stop you, but you'll be responsible.

How old are you? That could be the problem...Just cause your parents toke, doesn't mean they wan't you to. Thats the SAME as saying "well my dad drinks I don't know why he won't let me just cause I'm only 16"
