carpal tunnel syndrome

Does anyone know anything about carpal tunnel syndrome? I think I might be getting it because earlier today I was playing my bass pretty hard and all of a sudden my whole right arm and hand, like curls up and I couldn't move any of my fingers and my arm hurt so bad. Does anyone know what this could be?

I would suggest going to a Dr.
I just consulted with my mother who has the condition and she urges you to seek a "professional" opinion ie. someone who can physically diagnose you. Then seek natural remedy for whatever the problem is rather than pop whatever pills he/she will give you.
If it is CTS then early detection is important. If ignored it can cause irreversable damage.

On the other hand maybe it is something simple and benign like spasms and severe cramping.
