Alright heres my story...


My friends Brian and Sam were waiting at a parking lot for me and my friend. When we got there I opened my trunk pulled out some weed and proceed to head to my friends car. As soon as i hopped inside, 2 officers come up to the car and tell us to get out of the car. They assumed there was a drug deal going on so we got searched along with the car. The weed I had was stashed under the seat, but eventually found by the cops. The cops asked us about it, we all said we knew nothing about it. They also found 6 beers in the back of my friends car. They then searched my car and eventually found 2 roaches in the trunk. They wrote down our names, took our numbers, but did not give us any tickets. They left and said, be expecting a phone call. My questions are..

1) Whats a possession charge for 2 roaches in the state of michigan?
2) Will I automatically be charged for the dime in my friends car?


Id appreciate all the help!

are u sure they were cops or were they undercover plain cloths????? if plain cloths i might think you got robbed or they were just low on smoke them selfs
i got my shit taken name number taken down like 3-5 times never heard dick on any of those. i think a lot of cops get high. just like us it helps pass the time when at wrk lol

Similar thing happened to me actualy. Except the cop had a car. I was waiting for my friend to pick me up and a cop drove by thought i was out tagging. he searched my bag (i was scared and didn't say anything) found my el cheapo acrylic bong (had alot of sentimental value however) and about 3grams of the dankest nuggets ive had the pleasure of having (was going to my friends to smok'em), he made some threats. shoved me around threatened to "bring me in" then took down my details and left. never heard from them since

Damn.. thats nuts! These guys werent in police uniform either.. They had suits on. And I figured they were just in an undercover cop car.

haha since nobody said we knew anything about it, the dude have us his card and said to call him if we choose to cooperate.. thats about it..

haha, you just got jacked my friend. I'm 99% positive that you'll never hear anything else from the 'police' about this incident. If they were going to bust you, you would have been cuffed, put in the back of a patty wagon, taken down to the station, finger printed, processed, held for awhile posted bail and then released. But since know of this happened you're free in clear. Theres no crime if theres no evidence of it, and believe me they smoked all the evidence up. But careful though, they may try and jack you again when they get low.

wow you really messed up man, they had no right to search your person or your vehicle without reason, you just got a random search and seizure... nice

If they were doing a bust, they must show you prove that they are cops. I have never heard of this. Maybe they were just crackhead punks looking to sell the weed they stole, as everyone knows that true pot heads are noble citizens who dont steal. I'm sure they werent cops if they didnt call you back about this.

But try not doing these transactions in public. Do them at a house or something in private. Thats lowers your risk a lot!
