What is the earliest you can tell the sex of your plant?

The sooner you switch to 12/12 the sooner they'll start showing their sex. Seems to take a couple weeks, but I haven't grown much. As soon as you see the white hairs you can tell that the plant is female, but if you see balls don't rush to conclusions, just wait awhile to make sure.
