    Seed germination time...

I am trying to germinate 9 lowryder seeds at the moment it had been about 4 days and still nothing. I know each strain and seed is different in its sprouting and growth but is there a certain point at which I should just say fuck it? Anything I can do to speed the process up? Thanks.

I usually have sprouting seeds in a couple days, but it isn't uncommon for some seeds to take up to 2 weeks before sprouting ... I'm sitting out 5 seeds right now, one opened immediately, the other 4 are just sitting there, after a week ... don't let the soil get too damp, or you will kill them off .... :smokin:

They are in a wet paper towel in a plastic bag under a lamp. I just hope a few sprout.

Yeah really moist soil combined with too much heat will just rot your seeds. And you might want to try just some more indoor standard strains that'll germinate more readily. I like to just put the seeds in some moist but very well draining soil, then each day move the dirt a little but to see if they've started to germinate yet, and if so clear the soil somewhat so they can easily surface.

You don't want lamp heat you just want heat. Put them on top of your T.V in a light proof bag, the warm temperatures will get the seeds poping within 24 hours.

Well for germination you want very wet, but as soon as the tap root emerges you want well draining soil. But just germinating in well draining soil is fine too.
