I'm also using an envirolite for veg, what's your watttage? I'm just running a 105watt due to temp concerns. The envirolites seem to be constructed better than the hydrofarms, but I've found that the 200watt hydrofarm gives superior results.

how much are these lights on average??

Actually it's an ecoplus cfl, my bad, I always get those mixed up.

its a 200w red(flowering) i use a 200w blue for veggy stage the heat isnt an issue with them! i can touch the bulb without getting burnt even if its been on all day
the bulbs on there own are around £20-30 check out this place
