buy a 400watt hps... worry about your bill if u are running x4 1000watt lights 24/7. a 400watt ran 24/7 will raise your bill maybe 30$ @ .9 cents

she doesn't have a over 100 buckets to spend on lighting, Go for some 5.97 10" reflector clamp on fixtures at Home Depot and the biggest CFL you can find. Amazing things are being done with CFL's. And your right cool white for veg. and kitchen bath for flowering. Also if you have the old style flouro fixtures around, get some ego gro bulbs that are purple colored they emit both red and blue waves. But basically the more CFL's you can get. I have 12 CFL's plus 4 dual 48" flouro fixtures plus a 125w Metal Halide and a UV-B sunlamp bulb. Works wonders. Also the 'lamp reading light' 42w CFL thats long and has 'U' shaped glass is the best flowering CFL avaliable at walmart home depot, etc.

Great thanks for the shopping list and places to go get it at. Like you said I dont have alot to spend on this and it is my first grow I dont want to go all out for it. I want some experience before I buy alot of expensive stuff.
