    Checkpoints in life?

Well I know I'm not the only one that has times like this. But I was wondering if anyone has what I like to call a "checkpoint" in life. What I mean by this is, is there some time where you guys just sit there and some how happen to dawn over something that brings back the past and you sit there and mesmerize on life and of the best time in your life with the settings, the songs surrounded that point in your life, the smell, the stuff you did just everything and realize how it is currently in your life and how you wish so bad you could just go back and enjoy that time that you enjoyed before and just thought about life and death and stuff? It's even more deep for people like me who have had near death experiences and it really sucks. If I had to die to go back to the time that I enjoyed once before just one more time I'd kill my self right now . Eh, ok I've gotten way off topic lol, anyways has anyone ever felt this?

Yeah I feel that all the time. Especially when it comes to song
Most songs I listen to bring me back to a certain time in my life. One song = one memory.
I really do wish I could go back to happy times in life. Life just seems to be so harsh and negative now.
Ah life, what a fun thing to think about.. when you're high. Good times!
This is a good thread idea orangeman.

    Checkpoints in life?

I get the memories with certain smells. I remember when i was in year 2 at school [Grade 2]

The smell of cherries brings back memories of that, i dunno why, but i can remember colouring in pictures and running around the play ground.

Everything was so simple... Now its all about making money to survive, and hard graft.

If i could go back to being 7 years old for a day, i would.

Sometimes i just sit down and think back, and go over my life, and what i've got, what i've acheived so far.

Life is a strange thing, never to be taken for granted.

I end up thinking about death alot, but i try not to. Tbh, im scared shitless of dying, its terrible. I dont want it to hurt, i dont want it to happen. And if our souls live on, what happens to them?

They'll be around for EVER. Ever is a bloody long time, spesh when i cant sit still for 3 mins...

I always think, what if i die 2moro, what if i die before i have kids, and all this shizzle...

Why has life got to have a end that no ones knows.

then i start thinking...what if i die and thats it...its the end...then i get this weird ass dizzy feeling, theres nothing gaurnteed to me, i havent been promised a tomorrow...its really creepy when u think about it...im just sitting here...waiting to die...and ocne u die what was the point of everything...why did i have to go through all that bs to have it ended in a blink of an eye...(which is why i think im so lazy...)

    Checkpoints in life?

Wow, this thread is deep. I dont wanna get into all this because I'll probably end up writing more than I expected to (lol) but to put it brief and simple I believe theres an afterlife. Our spirit has to go some where. I believe this body we're possessing is just a medium, just something so that everyone knows everyone by identification of the face and all but this really isnt us and thats why I dont cry or feel bad when some one dies because I know they have an afterlife, they're spirit lives on and if they lived right then they should be ok. We're really spirits and once we die who knows where we'll go but I definitely believe in an afterlife.
