having trouble with my first grow
Little ones for best results should be started under 18hrs-24hrs of light, but I have seen many grows just sown from seed, from start to finish. It can be done, but less light=longer time to grow.
What do you mean slanted? Like the stem is slaned, or the leaves are drooping?
Sounds to me like the leaves are sagging down. That is a common case of overwatering. Only water when the soil is dry, and don't water so much that the soil is mucky. Especially when plants are that young as they have such a small root system, that overwatering is so easy to do.
Your plants should get at least 4-6hrs of direct sunlight a day.
The problem with starting outside is the heat risk they come in with. That hot sun beating down on them can dry things out very quickly, so check your soil everyday. You can water in the morning, but after a hit, dry day, that soil could be dried out again.
Good luck.Nochowderforyou Reviewed by Nochowderforyou on . having trouble with my first grow Hi, I just planted my first seeds about 5 days ago.
