    as they bush

Hey do you guys put a little space between your plants as they bush out, or do you still keep the pots close together? Just curious, mine are starting to bush out nice since day 6 of the 12/12. I will post some pics at noon, when the HPS comes back on...

Give as much room as you can, airflow between them is essential.

I agree with 4x5, but if you are growing for quantity and have rammed a space full of pots then tie up ur plants to keep them close together. Otherwise treat them as you would royalty, give them space and mineral water and be a good host to your guests. AIRFLOW is very important can't stress that point enough!! I will try and post some pics soon of the difference AIRFLOW can make to a crop.

Thanks for the tips guys, guess I better put some space between my plants. I have 8 plants under 1-400W HPS. I should be able to put a few inches between them without worring about light problems correct?

Alright here is day 6 of 12/12. Had to lower my shelf a few notches, they were getting too close to the light. I watered yesterday with just aquarium water at ph 7.0. They were pretty dry. I am going to add Bloom stuff, when flowers start to appear. I do see one that looks like it has tiny clusters of 3 balls or so at the branch unions. I'm guessing this is a male, they show first from what I hear, dont want to be wrong though! Dying to know how many females I have...fingers crossed

sounds like a baby boy. dont kill until your sure, just keep an eye on them. I was 95% sure on some of my males, and within 2 days they went from me being a little unsure to almost busting open! Here is an obvious male with a large flower starting on top.

RacerX thanks for the pic. Do the females form similar balls, but then develope two white "hairs"? I keep looking for the little white hairs but not sure exactly what they are to come out of
