GOT BUSTED NEED ADVISE!

Hi im 23 and got busted by cops here is the story ill make it short. Comin home from the bar we were done smoking just having a cigerette in my buddies car. someone called the cops i guess and they rolled up. My friend got in trouble for possession of weed (maybe a gram) and for his pipe Its his 2nd offense but the first was cleared off his record. My ticket just says "Loitering where drugs were used/kept" Ive never been in trouble with the law before and live in Michigan. In reality what am i looking at for punishment? do i need a lawyer?? and any idea on my buddies future as well? Thanks guys for anyone who reads and helps out

Another tidbit.....i have to appear in court in the next 14 days no set date just go in sometime in the next 2 weeks. if that makes a difference.

ALSO, we were just parked in his car (started) in a parking spot infront of my house (I live in a condo complex)

i doubt it'll be anything serious. the judge will probably just give you "a slap on the wrists" and tell you not to hang around drug users. Maybe a small fine or a few hours of CS.

Your buddy will probally get a fine, but posession less than an ounce is not a felony.
