    COCO VS Soil

Well I was told by the guy at the hydro store that coco was the way to go. I did 3 clones in Fox Farm soil and 3 in coco. The soil ones have taken off and the coco look almost the same as I got them. So to me soil looks like the way to go. Anyone else have any in put. As for Ferts I used some super trive and also some big Big Bloom by Fox farms. Next grow I will do some deep water culture. Just trying to find the best way with organic ferts. To me the when grown in good old dirt and organic fert you get some nice smooth tasting tomatos.

    COCO VS Soil

miraclegro has a starter soil for seedlings and clones which seems to work very well. contains more perlite. i know a guy who only does it one way with great turnouts... he uses perlite and peat moss. half perlite/half peat moss. but he only grows skunk.

COCO results will vary dramatically depending on the brand, as the quality varies quite a lot. You might want to try those cocogro coir boss blocks, I just sprouted a seedling in one, so we'll see how it does. You need to add a cal mag supplement, and I added a lot of worm castings as a tea.
