Abortion is always going to be around whether we like it or not. It's just a matter of where it happens--on a dirty table in a back alley, or in a clinic.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of abortion either, but the pro-lifers don't even want people to have access to birth control. Of course they're 'gung ho' death penalty when that unwanted child is turned loose on the world as fodder for the criminal justice system.

I always thought if the Catholic Church really wanted to help poor people they would change their policy about birth control. The only ones who take them seriously, it seems, are poverty stricken families who can't afford twelve kids.

By the way, while we're moralizing, most of the pro-lifers believe you'll be judged for your wicked herbal use. Do you really want them controling your decisions?
