Marijuana won't fuck up your life, nor will any other drug for that matter. It all comes down to an individual's decision to make the right, logical choices when it comes to those things. It's just that a bunch of ignorant people give certain drugs horrible reputations, weed included.

And really, who the hell cares about short-term memory? Think about it. In 20 years, will it really matter if you can't remember what you had for breakfast 20 years prior? Of course not. Most info that our short-term memory processes is useless anyway, so there's no point in preserving something like that. My long-term memory is as sharp as ever, and I've been a daily smoker for somewhere around 4 years.

i had a drug education class when i got caught, and they said that marijuana doesn't kill brain cells, the thc builds up a layer around them and it slows the reaction time between brain cells

Do I think smoking weed kills my brain cells? No, I don't think so. I have learned a lot of new things and new skills over the years (since I started smoking) rather quickly so I'm not a dumbass. My dad has been smoking weed for a long time and he is a very intelligent, sharp man. He reads shit like war and peace, political biographies, etc. everyday. Of course, neither one of us "look" like a stoner. My best friend, on the other hand, also smokes weed..but she smokes daily and she isn't as sharp as she was when she was younger. But see, I don't really think it's the weed, I think it's the anti-depressant that she's been taking for the past 7 years and increasing the dosage at least several times a year. I can really see the difference in her.

Okay I'm very high right now so if I'm rambling on and on...just skip my post . I keep losing my thought too...dammit! Oh well..

Oh yeah...to PartyGuy420, the chick you were conversing with sounds brainwashed. It's people like her that really should get high, she needs to relax and not look down on other people for what they do....just because her parents didn't know their limits.

Do u really think smoking weed.. killz ur brain cells...? and why... Theres people that say they think it does and ppl who say they dun think it does.. and ive read many articles statin it does and doesnt.. i jus wanted to get pplz opinions.. i personally feel it doesnt, it jus tickles them haha..

the only study that ever showed cannabis to kill brain cells was flawed. from what ive heard they pretty much suffocated monkeys in weed smoke for about 30 days straight. no further tests ever duplicated the results, but anti-drug propogandists still claim that it does
